Dogwood Arts Festival returns in-person this weekend

Tickets Required | World’s Fair Park | April 23-25

KNOXVILLE — Following a year of virtual events, the Dogwood Arts Festival is set to return IN-PERSON to World’s Fair Park on April 23rd, 24th, and 25th! The event will feature 75 art vendors working in mixed media, pottery, painting, photography, glass, jewelry, sculpture, and more. Attendees will enjoy live music from local and regional artists, food trucks, take-home art activities for kids, and a blooming beer garden with craft beer, wine, and specialty cocktails from Sugarlands Distilling Company.

Tickets Required: There is a strict capacity limit and guests are required to reserve a free ticket online prior to the event. Tickets are available in two-hour increments and there will be a designated period on Friday morning for elderly and immunocompromised attendees.

New Location: The festival will move to the beautifully redesigned Performance Lawn at World’s Fair Park. Greater in size than two football fields, World’s Fair Park provides ample space for attendees and vendors to safely social distance. With 37 parking lots and garages – many with free weeknights and weekends – Downtown Knoxville has plenty of options close to World's Fair Park to park. World's Fair Park Drive will remain open throughout the festival for drop-offs/pick-ups near the entry gate.

Festival Hours: Friday, April 23rd: 10 AM-7 PM (10 AM-12 PM reserved for the elderly and immunocompromised); Saturday, April 24th: 10 AM-7 PM; Sunday, April 25th: 10 AM-5 PM

Live Entertainment: Attendees will enjoy live music from local and regional favorites on two small stages at the event. Performers include Brian Clay, Twicegood, Grady Milligan, Pale Root, Zack Miles, Matt Morlock, Travis & Aubrey, Redd, Brandon Graham (Sunkiller Solo), Haley Labelle, Jasmine Hoisington, Marlee Hart, Evie Andrus, and the Thrift Store Cowboys. Musicians will be safely distanced from attendees. Attendees will be required to maintain at least 6' from those not in their party while enjoying live music. Dogwood Arts is working with Born & Raised Productions to book the event.

Pandemic Protocols: Festival organizers have been working closely with the City of Knoxville and following Knox County Health Department guidelines to bring this celebrated springtime event back while prioritizing the health and safety of everyone involved. Masks are required for all patrons over the age of 12 and must remain on unless guests are seated in the concession area. Staff, volunteers, and artists will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms each day before entering the event.

Not able to join in at World’s Fair Park? A directory of participating artists is available online.
