Think Fall is just for leaf watchers? Think again! East Tennessee farms serve up some great entertainment for people of all ages. Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hayrides, petting zoos, and farm markets offer fun for everyone. Check out these fun farms in the East Tennessee area.

Ballinger Farm - opens Friday, September 18, 2020

Beck Mountain Corn Maze - opens Friday, October 5, 2020

Birchland Ocoee Farms - Opens September 26, 2020

Birchland Ocoee Farms is "Home of the River Maze". Let Freedom Ring! America, the Beautiful, the 2020 corn maze, features an outline of the United States. Inside are paths for 10 major rivers in the USA. You can also see one of the historical icons of America, the Liberty Bell, in the design. Also included are educational signs about beautiful landmarks in the United States at the passport posts in the maze. There are 10 spots where you see numbered posts. Guests carry a trivia passport on a topic of their choice and a correct answer gives a clue about which way to turn. Hartman's Corn Maze

The Hartman’s Corn Maze will have a strong Tusculum University theme this fall. The corn maze, located in nearby Mosheim, has been designed utilizing the Tusculum Athletics logo with the Pioneer Head and “Tusculum” at the center of the unique outdoor experience located in Western Greene County. The corn maze and hayride will run weekly, Thursday through Sunday from September 11 until October 31. The haunted maze and haunted hayride, along with zombie paintball hunting.

The way this maze is designed, you can spend as much, or as little, time as you like in the maze. If you’re up for finding all the checkpoints, and solving the Farm Scene Investigation, allow 1 to 1 1/2 hours. But if you’ve got little kids, with a shorter attention span, for instance…find as many checkpoints as you can, then when they get tired, you can leave the maze, and come back later if you like.
