On Saturday, September 28 you will have an opportunity to meet artist Kathie Odom in her element. From 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Odom will be at the District Gallery & Framery.

Odom travels extensively and spends much of her time oil painting in the great outdoors. She teaches workshops, participates in plain air events, and keeps up with an impressive roster of galleries.

This is a rare change to meet and spend time with Kathie here in her hometown -- in her element.

For one special Saturday:

• Get an exclusive look at the largest collection of Kathie Odom's work ever shown in the gallery.
• Watch as she dips her brushes in oil for a live demonstration.
• Enjoy a locally catered complimentary lunch.
• Enjoy an intimate gathering with Kathie and her husband Buddy as they talk about building a later-in-life career. Learn what it's like to be a plain air painter on the road.
