KNOXVILLE - Ruby Slipper is dipping into fall decadence. The brunch brands’ newest limited-time menu, available at all locations starting Aug. 20, transforms a nostalgic Southern favorite — banana pudding — into two over-the-top creations:
Banana Pudding Beignets: a New Orleans-style treat with a creamy twist, filled with banana pudding cheesecake and finished with warm bananas foster sauce, vanilla wafer crumbs, whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry
Banana Pudding Stuffed French Toast: a fork and knife version of the beignets that layers buttery brioche with the same luscious banana pudding cheesecake, topping it with bananas foster sauce, vanilla wafer crumbs, whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry
“This menu is our way of celebrating fall flavors while staying true to Ruby’s creative, non-conventional approach to brunch,” said Chef Marla Chu, culinary director for Ruby Slipper. “Banana pudding is rich, comforting and unmistakably Southern — the kind of flavor that wraps you up like a blanket and turns an ordinary brunch into something special.”
