Tusculum University Schedules Second AI Boot Camp

GREENVILLE, TN - Learn practical ways to apply artificial intelligence during another boot camp at  Tusculum University  geared toward entrepreneurs and other business professionals.

Tusculum’s Business Division will hold a second AI Boot Camp Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in Room 305 of the Meen Center. Conducted by David Hite, associate professor of business and director of Tusculum’s Center for Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation, the workshop will provide attendees with a plethora of AI skills they can use to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their business or project through this technology.

Hite scheduled a second session because the first one quickly sold out.

“We know entrepreneurs and business professionals want to maximize the success of their business or product,” Hite said. “Using AI ethically and appropriately can reduce some elements of running a business or launching a product that slow productivity. We look forward to showing AI tools to those in business that can help them streamline their operations so they can focus on other aspects that will be a better allocation of their time.”

Hite has organized a day focused on hands-on learning through a workshop approach instead of having a number of lectures. Registrants will learn how to use AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM and Loveable AI. They do not need coding experience to participate in the boot camp.

After participating in the boot camp, attendees will be able to use and apply an AI prompt guide, competitor research tools, business writing and marketing templates, website development resources and a 30-day AI action plan.

Particular skills they will have at their disposal include the ability to:

• Write powerful prompts that generate useful business results
• Create social media content, emails, blogs and video scripts in minutes
• Use AI as a strategic thinking partner to solve business challenges
• Generate proposals, strategic operating procedures, job descriptions and other business documents
• Research competitors, markets and industry trends

“This is a can’t-miss event for those who want to enhance their operations and find a sweet spot for completing many tasks associated with their business or product in a responsible way,” said Dr. John Alpers, dean of the School of Business, Education and Sport. “As we have seen with the first boot camp filling all of the seats, there is a hunger for this type of knowledge that David will feed.
