OAK RIDGE, TN - Tennessee REALTORS® has named Kaden Reed of Oak Ridge as a recipient of the eighth-annual TREEF (Tennessee Real Estate Educational Foundation) Scholarship. Kaden is being awarded $2,500 to support his higher education at Pellissippi State Technical Community College.

First established in 2019, the TREEF Scholarship has been committed to supporting rising college freshmen who are children, grandchildren or dependents of licensed Tennessee REALTORS members and association staff members. The scholarship assists incoming college freshmen specializing in allied subjects to real estate at the graduate, university, or junior college level.

Tennessee REALTORS 2026 President Chris Garrett congratulated this year’s scholarship recipients, stating, “These scholarships recognize more than academic achievement. They celebrate ambition, perseverance and the potential to make a meaningful difference. We are thrilled to help open doors for the next generation and look forward to seeing all they accomplish.”

Kathy Dunn, TREEF Trustee President, added, "Kaden’s commitment to serving his community and mentoring others embodies the spirit of this recognition. His willingness to invest in the lives of others speaks volumes about his character.”

The TREEF Scholarship honors the lasting contributions of Stephen Harding and Linda Woods, who retired in 2017 after 44 and 48 years, respectively, of dedicated service and leadership with Tennessee REALTORS. Their commitment to the association and to professional development inspired the creation of this scholarship program.
