Tranzonic Companies hires Vines as director of safety

The Tranzonic Companies has hired Niki Vines as director of safety for the national manufacturing firm.

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, The Tranzonic Companies was founded in 1921 and manufactures and distributes wiping cloths, personal hygiene products, textiles, washroom supplies and accessories, wiping and cleaning supplies, and safety products. The growing company is hiring, and job seekers can learn more and apply online. Vines is responsible for safety at Tranzonic facilities in San Diego and Ontario, California; Enfield, Connecticut; Miami, Florida; Lynn, Massachusetts; Sparks, Nevada; and Bolivar, Ohio, in addition to Knoxville, where she is based.



“Niki possesses full knowledge of regulatory compliance at the state and local levels,” said Brian Rhoades, executive vice president of operations for Tranzonic. “Her expertise will help Tranzonic build on a strong culture of safety and compliance, and we welcome Niki to the Tranzonic team.”

Vines, who has experience across multiple industries, including food and beverage, manufacturing and safety consulting, held a safety and environmental manager position at WestRock, which develops beverage packaging solutions, in Knoxville before joining Tranzonic. She also served as environmental, health and safety (EHS) supervisor for U.S. facilities at NEO Industries Inc. in Maryville and EHS consultant and project manager for EnSafe Inc. in Knoxville.




She currently serves as vice president and communications chair of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) East Tennessee Chapter. Vines resides in Knoxville.
