Family roots return leads to prosperous business, Knoxville Chamber Award

KNOXVILLE - Seymour-based ONE Business Solutions is among several area companies celebrating announcements made at the Knoxville Chamber 16th Annual Pinnacle Business Awards. Being recognized for impact, excellence, and innovation, ONE Business Solutions joins a select elite collection of area businesses. The Women-Owned Business Excellence award was presented on February 7th at the gala to first-time nominee and finalist Janet Livingston, owner and president of ONE Business Solutions (ONE).

With over 200 award nominations, ONE is honored to be acknowledged as a leader among greater Knoxville area businesses. Visibly stunned at the announcement of her win, Livingston took the stage to accept her award, where she described her move to East Tennessee and the pride in bringing jobs to Knoxville. Through tears, Livingston stated, "I moved [my company] here from the San Francisco Bay area and brought 100 Knoxvillians into my company."

Livingston shared that, though this award recognized the accomplishments of ONE Business Solutions, she's also founded additional companies. One of these companies, ONE Service Pros, offers electric, plumbing, septic, HVAC, security, and other building maintenance services delivered by honest, licensed professional tradespeople for both residential and commercial customers in the Knoxville Area.

Livingston thanked the Chamber along with ONE staff and shared that, while this award showcases her professional accomplishments, it's personally touching because of the legacy that her family has built in Knoxville."I'm very proud. My family has been here (in Tennessee) since 1778," Livingston boasted of the 8 generations of her family that have lived in Tennessee. "My dad passed away six months ago and he would be so proud of this; he loved Knoxville."
