Arshita D. Patel, D.O. joins Summit Medical Group

KNOXVILLE - Arshita D. Patel, D.O., has joined Summit Medical Group as a neurologist. She currently is accepting new patients.

Dr. Patel specializes in the diagnosis, management and treatment of acute and chronic neurologic conditions of the central and peripheral nervous system, including stroke, headache, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and movement disorders. She is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) and a member of American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

Dr. Patel is a native of Tennessee. She completed her residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She received her bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics from the University of Tennessee in 2002 and earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University in 2015.

She lives in West Knoxville with her husband, Ashish, their 13-year-old son, Anand, and 11-year-old daughter, Anika. Dr. Patel volunteers with Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) and enjoys hiking, paddle boarding and trying new restaurants in the area.

Dr. Patel will practice at Rheumatology Associates of East Tennessee, a member of Summit Medical Group, East Tennessee’s largest primary care organization.
