BLUFF CITY, TN – Container Construction Systems announces the purchase of its first local
shipping container home, the Chester House. The three container home features a single 40-foot
container and two 20-foot containers. This build is the first shipping container home for
Washington County Tenn. and will be placed in Limestone, Tenn.
The process for building the Chester House and every shipping container home build by Container
Construction Systems starts with the initial design of the home where multiple meetings with the
client and even a virtual tour of the home take place. Container Construction Systems completes
all of the “heavy lifting” of the build at their headquarters located in Bluff City, Tenn. by
completing the installation of windows, doors, and the structural steelwork.
“We are excited to bring this build to life,” said Robin Weatherby, Lead Designer for Container
Construction Systems. “Container Construction Systems has worked hard over the past 18 months
to perfect the art of container modifications and delivery; it was only natural that we build a
shipping container home in our backyard. We are ecstatic for the family and can’t wait to set the
new home at its final nesting place in Limestone, Tenn.”
