The Restoration House Needs Volunteers
The Restoration House of East Tennessee is in need of volunteers to help with several outdoor projects at their property before the arrival of winter. These projects include completing a landscaping and planting project, filling raised beds with topsoil
and humus in preparation of Spring planting, completing the playground fence, and painting a small barn. If you are able to help with these needs, please contact Lori Haskell, Program Coordinator, at lori@therestorationhouse.net.
Would you like to help a senior OUT?
Knoxville-Knox County Community Action Committee is seeking volunteer drivers for their Volunteer Assisted Transportation program. Volunteers will utilize agency-owned hybrid sedans or wheelchair accessible minivans while accompanying seniors or persons with disabilities to appointments, shopping, and other errands. Training is provided, to include AAA East Tennessee Driver Improvement, American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification, and passenger assistance techniques - fees are paid by the agency.
