Maryville College's Stanley Claims GSAC Player of the Week Honor
 DECATUR, Ga.- Milton Stanley of Maryville College has been named the Great South Athletic Conference Player of the Week for men's basketball.
Stanley helped the Scots go 2-0 this past week with wins over Bryan College and North Carolina Wesleyan. He tossed in 20 points on 5-of-9 shooting against Bryan, a strong NAIA program. He went 10-for-12 from the free-throw line while adding three blocks and a pair of steals to help defeat Bryan. He helped MC defeat NC Wesleyan with a 15 point performance that included five rebounds and a pair of steals.
Collectively, Milton averaged 17.5 points per game while shooting 50% from the field (10-for-20). He was 15-for-19 from the charity stripe (79%) while averaging 2.5 rebounds a game and 4.5 assists per game.
Stanley and the Scots will match up with Guilford College on Dec. 17 at 3:00 p.m.
