JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is excited to continue its expansion to the state of Tennessee that began in the spring of 2013. The HJGT moved into Tennessee with two tournaments in the Volunteer State in the first few months of 2013, and with over 30 premier events this upcoming fall, the elite tour will feature three high quality tournaments in Tennessee.
Upcoming events featured in the state of Tennessee for the fall of 2013 include:
• Oct. 19-20: Major Championship at Bear Trace, Bear Trace at Cumberland, Crossville, TN
• Nov. 2-3: Nashville Jr. Challenge, King’s Creek Golf Club, Spring Hill, TN
• Nov. 16-17: Chattanooga Jr. Shootout, Bear Trace at Harrison Bay, Harrison, TN
This choice tour has produced over 2,500 collegiate golfers who have signed letters of intent at over 200 universities and plays a vital role in promoting junior golf throughout the country. Playing on the nationally accredited tour will give all juniors an opportunity to gain nationwide exposure through multiple ranking systems including the National Junior Golf Scoreboard (NJGS), the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), and the Golfweek/Titleist Performance Index, among others.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and Ohio.
