Villa Collina -- a 36,000 square foot estate on 12 acres along the Tennessee River.

KNOXVILLE -- Knoxville's Villa Collina, a stunning, Southern home modeled after an Italian villa boasting an impressive 36,000 square feet with breathtaking views of the Tennessee River was set for sell during a live, on-site auction scheduled for May 26, 2011. The Villa has gone under contract with Concierge Auctions, a luxury real estate auction firm serving high-end sellers nationwide. Concierge utilizes an accelerated marketing process that obtains fair market value for high-end properties in a 60-day timeframe.

The sale of Villa Collina was conducted in cooperation with listing agent Debbie Elliott-Sexton of Alliance Sotheby's International Realty.

"The number of high-caliber prospects Concierge Auctions produced was impressive. In only three weeks they attracted national attention from various publications including the Wall Street Journal, and in turn more interested buyers were identified than in the prior years the property was on and off the market," Elliott-Sexton stated. "We're thrilled for the new owner of Villa Collina and now look forward to our next assignment with Concierge Auctions -- the Farm at Tralee, selling at auction next month."

The Villa sits on 10.63 acres of meticulously manicured landscaping on one of the highest hills of historic Lyons View. Located at at 5628 Lyons View Pike, the property offers breathtaking views of the Tennessee River and Great Smoky Mountains, which provide complete, scenic privacy.

"The auction process produced an urgency that could not be created through traditional advertising efforts alone," stated the seller, Deane Conley. "It is bittersweet to leave Villa Collina, but I am pleased to have found a buyer who will enjoy the property with his family for years to come. Many thanks to Debbie Elliott-Sexton and Concierge Auctions for helping me accomplish my goals."

Concierge Auctions' global exposure campaign generated 29 qualified buyer prospects and 1,641 visits to the auction website from 47 US states and 16 international countries -- all in less than three weeks.

"This is an exciting day for Concierge Auctions and is particularly impressive at this ultra-luxury price point," stated Laura Brady, Vice President of Marketing for Concierge Auctions. "Our auctions are unmistakable opportunities, as they present the most motivated, high-end sellers nationwide. The auction deadline means that serious buyers have to step forward if they are interested in the property. It is a powerful dynamic. In some cases, such as Villa Collina a buyer is so interested in owning the house, they make an acceptable offer prior to the auction."

Concierge Auctions will also sell the extravagant Crantzdorf Castle in Johnson City at absolute auction on June 16th, to the highest bidder regardless of price. This 20,000-square-foot custom castle is situated on 13 lake front acres. On June 23rd, the firm will sell The Farm at Tralee in Strawberry Plains at absolute auction, subject to bank credit bid. The property contains 190 acres of rolling Tennessee Hills, 2 homes, 33 home sites, a gazebo, stocked pond and equestrian facilities and will be offered in a variety of different parcel options.
