Susan Loveday achieves board certification in medical practice management

KNOXVILLE -- Susan Loveday, vice president of talent strategies and relations for Summit Strategic Solutions, has earned the professional designation of Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) by the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), the certification entity of the Medical Group Management Association.

The designation of CMPE demonstrates that Loveday has achieved board certification in medical practice management. She has passed rigorous ACMPE examinations that assess medical practice management skills, including business operations, financial management, human resource management, information management, organizational governance, patient care systems, quality management and risk management. Loveday also has earned a minimum of 50 continuing education credit hours.

Loveday, who has 20 years of management experience, holds memberships with the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and American Medical Group Association. She also is an SHRM senior certified professional and a senior professional in human resources.

Loveday earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and her master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Radford University in Virginia. She resides in Sevier County with her husband, Chad.
