Local church hosts active shooter seminar

KNOXVILLE – This past year, this country has been devastated by escalating events in both church and mass shootings.

Crossroads Christian Church of Knoxville is taking a stand and hosting an Active Shooter Training class on Tuesday, February 20 at 6:30 pm. The seminar is for local churches, organizations, and individuals to learn how to prepare for an active shooter event.

The event will be facilitated by Retired FBI Agent and Security Professional Rick Hill. Hill has 27 years of experience conducting and managing some of the FBI’s most sophisticated domestic and international counterterrorism, intelligence, and criminal enterprise investigations. He will train the group on response, preparation, and safety.

In 2017, Hill established A&A INVESTIGATION & CONSULTING GROUP to provide a variety of investigative and consulting services. As a speaker and trainer, Hill provides local organizations with the fundamental tools needed to understand the risks posed by our greatest security threats.

Crossroads Christian Church is located at 209 Canton Hollow Road in West Knoxville. For more information, you may call 865-247-3760.
