SEVIERVILLE, TN – The doors of the Sevierville Convention Center are about to open to host the K2 Wilderness at the Smokies Volleyball Tournament. The event begins Saturday, January 24th, at 8:00 am and runs for the next two weeks ending on Sunday, February 8th. This marks the 5th consecutive year at Sevierville Convention Center for the tournament which is made possible by K2 Volleyball Club, Wilderness at the Smokies and Gimmedat USA Apparel. The public is invited to attend.

Athletes, coaches, scouts, families and spectators of all ages gather in Sevierville for this popular tournament. Each weekend brings in 160 plus teams from all over the southeast. This spirited completion takes place on 21 courts set in Exhibition Hall A & B. Athletes range in age from middle school through high school. Many of these athletes have long range goals of continuing their education at a higher level. This event creates excitement and economic impact throughout the city of Sevierville at a time when January and February did not draw many visitors until a few years ago.

The Sevierville Convention Center is located just outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the foothills of East Tennessee and only minutes from I-40. The 200,000 square foot facility caters to events of all sizes, including sporting events, trade and retail shows, meeting conventions, retreats, seminars, banquets, receptions and holiday parties.
