IRS to auction house, multiple lots in Knoxville area June 10


KNOXVILLE - The Internal Revenue Service will hold a public auction of a house and ten parcels of real estate June 10 in Knoxville. The properties were seized for nonpayment of Internal Revenue taxes.

Properties to be auctioned include a house and lot at 3431 Skyline Dr., three lots on Rohar Rd., a commercial lot at 524 W. Jackson St., a lot on Ezell St., four lots on Hollywood Rd., and 1.6 acres on Everett Rd.

The auction will be held June 10 at the Old Knox County Courthouse, 300 Main St., in Knoxville. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and bidding begins at 11 a.m.

All properties can be previewed via drive-by at any time prior to the sale. The properties will each be auctioned separately. Mail-in bids are accepted.

All payments must be by cash, certified check, cashier's or treasurer's check or by a United States postal, bank, express, or telegraph money order.
