KNOXVILLE – Bojangles’, the restaurant famous for serving delicious chicken, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits and fresh breakfast all day every day, is opening its newest Bojangles’ in Knoxville. On Tuesday, August 19 Bojangles’ will have its grand opening of its new Knoxville restaurant located at 9101 Kingston Pike.

bojanglesWhen the doors open at 5 a.m., Bojangles’ will welcome early-risers by giving $50 Bojangles’ gift cards to the first 50 customers. Also, opening day guests may register to win Bojangles’ delicious breakfast for a year – that’s one Bojangles’ breakfast combo every week for a full 52 weeks!

On opening day, customers will also enjoy:
• Free Legendary Iced Tea® with any purchase from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Free kid’s meal with any purchase from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
• Coupon for a free ham, steak or sausage biscuit from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Knoxville residents who can’t wait for a taste of Bojangles’ on opening day can get a free 22 oz. Legendary Iced Tea at the drive-thru window from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 for a special pre-opening giveaway.

Since 1977, Bojangles’ has served a hearty menu honoring traditional, Southern recipes including its world-famous chicken, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits, flavorful fixin’s and Legendary Iced Tea, steeped the old-fashioned way. Bojangles’ also welcomes guests to enjoy delicious breakfast, made fresh all day, every day at each of its 600-plus restaurants throughout the Southeast.

“We are thrilled to open our newest Bojangles’ restaurant in Knoxville,” said Regional Vice President Dion Firooznia. “As we continue to expand in Tennessee, our local team is eager to begin new relationships with our customers and show this community what ‘Bo Time’ is all about – delicious chicken, made-from-scratch biscuits, Legendary Iced Tea and breakfast served all day, every day.”

Bojangles’ new company-owned restaurant in Knox County also represents an economic investment in the area. The average investment made by the company for new locations is $1.7 million, and each new store creates an average of 65-70 new jobs.

The more than 3,800 square-foot restaurant on Kingston Pike will seat over 75 guests and serve all menu items – including Bojangles’ famous breakfast – from 5 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Sunday.
