KNOXVILLE -- The Knoxville YWCA has welcomed Katie Fitch as its Development Director in charge of fundraising and donor engagement.
"I feel that this is a strong organization that makes a difference for women in our community who want a positive change for their lives despite real challenges," Katie said. "The women who are served by the YWCA are truly inspiring, overcoming odds and adversity to achieve the goals that they have set for themselves and often their families."
Katie earned her undergraduate degree in English & Politics from Converse College, in Spartanburg, SC. Being from Knoxville, Katie found her way home and has worked as the Children and Family Ministry Director for Second Presbyterian Church. She is currently involved in Junior League of Knoxville, the Knoxville Fellows and has been involved with Dogwood Arts Festival, Young Life, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Golf Tournament, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Westview Elementary, Converse College Alumnae Association, and Fantasy of Trees.
