UT Graduate Student Senate hosts “Big Orange Adventure” to benefit the McClung Museum

KNOXVILLE — A Big Orange Adventure is happening on Saturday, March 7, beginning at 9 a.m. This fundraiser to benefit the McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture is being hosted by the Graduate Student Senate at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The event is a “fun run” where pre-registered teams of four to six participants will race to complete challenges and solve puzzles.

The Adventure takes place all over campus. Teams will stop to participate in activities that highlight the offerings of various academic and athletic departments. The teams must complete a certain number of these challenges before finishing with a final challenge inside the McClung Museum. Several sponsor-donated prizes will be given at the end of the race in different categories, including fastest time overall, best team costumes, fastest fraternity and fastest sorority. The event is family friendly and everyone is invited.

Registration Fee
• $10 per person if registered by March 2
• $15 per person if registered March 3–7

There is a Facebook event page where information on the race and available prizes will be updated.
