February 3rd is National Wear Red Day
KNOXVILLE -- The Knoxville American Heart Association (ARA) is hosting a joint mayoral proclamation at the City County Building on Friday, February 3rd as part of a national call for awareness about the number one and four killers of Americans, heart disease and stroke. The event will take place in the main assembly room at 9:30 a.m.
Educational booths will be available from Tennova Healthcare (the local Go Red for Women cause partner), and Summit Medical Group, the Go Red for Women Luncheon sponsor.
Tennova market CEO, Mike Garfield, and Physician's Regional CEO, Jeff Ashin, will be present at the event along with a lifestyle change hero, Konnie Anderson.
