Brian Murray's image of Clingmans Dome
Bliss Home is featuring Brian Murray for the March First Friday. A reception will be held at Bliss Home, 29 Market Square, from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, March 2.
Murray is well versed in Knoxville; he grew up in South and West Knoxville. Murray currently resides in North Knoxville.
Murray has been honing his photography skills for nineteen years and studied art at the University of Tennessee. Murray currently has his photography of Knoxville in Bliss Home that are "areas I considered to be landmarks that everyone could relate to and presented them in a way of preserving their uniqueness." These photos are predominantly black and white photos, which he prefers. "I don't normally do color photos, mainly because I like the nostalgic look that black and white photos present."
Murray's new mountain series exhibit of Clingman's Dome will be in color because it was "a perfect subject of color."
Brian Murray currently has an array of prints and photos of Tennessee for sale at Bliss Home. His mountain series exhibit of Clingman's Dome will be viewable March 2 through the end of the month.
