Women Today EXPO to host Disney and ABC Family star Nicole Anderson

nicole andersonThe 17th annual Women Today will host Disney and ABC Family star Nicole Anderson at the Knoxville Convention Center on Sunday, March 6, from 1:45-3:45 p.m.

Anderson most recently appeared as a catty school bully in ABC Family's original movie "Mean Girls 2," which aired on Jan. 23 as the No. 1 cable television movie. "Mean Girls 2," the sequel to the 2004 cult classic, was released to DVD and Blu-Ray Feb. 1.

Anderson is best known for her role as Macy Misa on the Disney Channel Original Series "JONAS L.A." and for her recurring role on ABC Family's "Make It or Break It." She also has appeared on shows such as "Zoey 101," "iCarly," "Hannah Montana" and "Imagination Movers."

The 20-year-old is the first-ever international spokesperson for Underwriters Laboratories Youth Safety Smart Program, which encourages safe, environmental stewardship and promotes personal health and well-being.

The "Mean Girls 2" star enjoys quilting, painting, drawing, photography and shopping. Many of these hobbies are represented in the Women Today exhibits.

Women Today also will feature the 2011 Summer Camp Fair returning on Sunday, March 6, from noon-6 p.m. This is a "can't miss" for families to meet and greet with the best summer camps from all over East Tennessee, covering multiple vocations. The Chick-fil-A cow also will be making a special appearance at the Summer Camp Fair from 1:30-3:30 p.m. and will be available for photos.

Women Today has everything a woman is looking for in one location. From great shopping, fashion shows and home d├ęcor to information on women's health and fitness, this event guarantees a fun weekend with friends. Women Today will take place March 4-6 at the Knoxville Convention Center.
