Knoxville's Next Generation of Artists Featured During Dogwood Arts Festival

KNOXVILLE -– The Dogwood Arts Festival's Student Art Exhibition highlights Knoxville's next generation of artists, featuring the traditional and non-traditional artwork from area schools K-12.

The exhibit is being held at the Emporium Center for the Arts through April 30, 2011. The Emporium is located at 100 S. Gay Street. Hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Student Art Exhibition is a way to congratulate the dedicated art teachers in East Tennessee whose passion helps foster the maturation of creative ability in each student. Supporting arts education is an important part of the mission of the Dogwood Arts Festival.
