KNOXVILLE -- Taziki’s Mediterranean Café is ready to give its fans more of what they want with a fresh menu featuring some old favorites and some new creative bold flavors.

Every location of the acclaimed fast-casual Mediterranean brand now features a new menu highlighting some fan favorites, new bold flavors, and a new menu format - featuring bowls and more personalization. Taziki’s has been testing various items in different markets and is now ready to up the flavor quotient on its already delicious line of fresh modern Mediterranean fare while refining the customer experience.

“Our founder, and Chief Culinary Officer, Keith Richards, continues to innovate in the kitchen and deliver connection, craft, and creativity. This fresh new take on our menu meets some of our guest's evolving preferences, expands our flavor profile, and makes for a smoother guest ordering experience. We’re excited to give guests a way to ramp up the flavor on their Taziki’s favorites and make ordering a breeze,” said Taziki’s CEO Dan Simpson. “We’re sure our guests will enjoy the new menu experience.”

Taziki’s line of Spicy Harissa items is sure to fire up the menu. A bold and fiery specialty, Taziki’s harissa sauce is made of red peppers and chiles blended with a variety of herbs, spices and olive oil for a hot and zesty flavor. The Spicy Harissa Hummus is Taziki’s traditional hummus blended with a special harissa sauce and topped with spicy chili oil for extra bold flavor and is served with pita or chilled veggies. Spicy Harissa Chicken can be enjoyed in a variety of ways; on a gyro, salad or feast.

Those looking for a milder flavor can opt for the new Chicken Chutney Sandwich. Featuring grilled chicken, Taziki’s Tomato Chutney Aioli, lettuce and tomatoes on a kaiser bun, it is sure to be a welcome hearty addition. Guests who long for the return of the savory Mediterranean Lamb Burger will be pleased to see it permanently added to the new menu lineup – and can look forward to another version of their Lamb Burger later this summer.

Guests will now be able to build their own feasts with a choice of protein, side, and salad. The new category named Pitas, Gyros and More features pitas and sandwiches along with Taziki’s traditional gyro builds. The Salad category is now being served in bowls making it easier to toss in dressing. The Homemade Dips category includes the popular shareable appetizers. Little ones aren’t left behind either as Taziki’s new Kid’Ziki’s section offers several options for children 12 and under.

“As we celebrate 25 years of Taziki’s this year, we continue to be creative with our fun, modern Mediterranean fare while keeping an eye focused on providing great guest experiences,” said Founder Keith Richards. “This new menu introduces some bold new flavors while its structure makes things easier for our guests.”
