Summer on Broadway Festival returns with family fun

MARYVILLE, TN -- Experience summer in the Smoky Mountains with a slate of outdoor entertainment during the annual Summer on Broadway festival. Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24 will be jam-packed with fun for families and people of all ages in bustling Downtown Maryville. The excitement begins Friday at the Municipal Parking Deck located at 128 W. Broadway Avenue.
The silent headphone disco, a favorite among attendees and introduced last year, will return.
“We are excited to bring back our silent disco since we know that’s a big draw for people of all ages,” said Blount Partnership Event Coordinator Tammy Bolt. “Show us your best moves and have fun with it while you rock out to your favorite genre.”
Attendees can enjoy:
● The Smoky Mountain Dock Dogs dive on Friday and Saturday
● Silent Headphone Disco at the Municipal Parking Deck at 8 p.m.
● Farmers’ Market on Saturday
● Classic Car Show on Saturday
● Big BBQ Bash Awards Presentation at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday
● Craft vendors
● Food trucks
● Kids area
“Summer on Broadway is a much-anticipated festival and draws attendees from across the region looking for summer fun and entertainment just down the road from our nation’s most-visited national park,” said Blount Partnership Director of Tourism Kim Mitchell. “With music, food, crafts and unique entertainment opportunities, it’s a chance to enjoy an engaging street festival while visiting the Smokies.”
The event is free and everyone is invited.
