Wings Etc. kicks off Lenten season with a meatless “Food Fight”
March 1, 2022
Wings Etc. Grill & Pub will observe Lent 2022 with popular meatless menu items, highlighted in a “Food Fight” that invites guests 21 and older to vote on their favorites -- and have a chance to win a weekly drawing for a Wings Etc. $100 Gift Card (no purchase necessary, void where prohibited, see site for details).
During the 2022 Lenten season, Wings Etc. Grill & Pub’s 78 locations will promote the first-ever “Food Fight: Lent Edition". In an extension of the chain’s popular “Food Fight” format, where the popularity of featured items is decided via guest-driven online voting, the Lent version highlights meatless menu options that are in demand during the season.
Now through April 14, 2022, the Meatless Beyond® Burger faces off with Wings Etc.’s Crispy Fish Tacos. In a bonus round, guests can choose which lighter beer option pairs best with their Lenten meal -- "Old School” Busch Light or “New School” Bud Light Next. Guests ages 21 and older can vote at wingsfoodfight.com. Voting also provides an option to register for a chance to win $100 Wings Etc. Gift Cards in weekly drawings.
Wings Etc.’s Beyond Burger is growing as part of a larger, national meatless trend, and is especially popular during Lent. Wings Etc.’s Crispy Fish Tacos feature beer-battered fish in flour tortillas with lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, and a signature lime crema sauce.
In the “Old School” vs. “New School” beer fight, Busch Light takes on newcomer Bud Light Next. Reigning champion Busch Light is brewed longer to create a lighter body and fewer calories while always delivering that classic taste, while Bud Light Next is brewed for “what’s next” -- offering light beer and seltzer drinkers a crisp, refreshing carb-free alternative.
Eligible voters can join the pool of qualified entrants, one of which is chosen at random for the $100 Gift Card. A winner will be selected weekly, from March 2, 2022, through April 14, 2022. |
