2022 Spring Fling at Ober Gatlinburg
GATLINBURG, TN - Ober Gatlinburg will be hosting their annual Spring Fling event Sunday, March 6th, 2022. This will be a day filled with competitions and events such as: SkiMo (Uphill Race), Giant Slalom Race, High Ollie and Big Jump Competitions. The day will wrap-up with a crowd favorite — Pond Skimming; where Skiers and Snowboarders alike will descend the slopes hoping to skim the pond without sinking into the icy cold water.
There will be cash prizes for the first and second placements in the High Ollie Competition and Giant Slalom Race, sponsor swag for the SkiMo Race, and a pair of Head Twin Tip Skis for the winner of the Big Jump Competition.
Spring Fling Schedule Of Events:
7:30AM – SkiMo Race*
8:30AM – On-site Registration & Check-in 9:30AM – Giant Slalom Race
12:00PM – High Ollie Contest 1:30PM – Big Jump Contest 3:00PM – Pond Skimming
5:30PM – Awards in the Loft lounge
*SkiMo participants must register in advance. There will not be on-site registration.

Ober Gatlinburg is offering a Spring Fling special rate on 2022/23 Season Passes for one day only. This pass will be valid for the rest of this ski season and all of next season. Those interested can make their purchase, in person only, at the Guest Services Office on the Mountain at Ober Gatlinburg. This One Day Sale will be the lowest price offered this Season. Season Passes will not be available again until after Labor Day at the regular Early Bird Rate.
The Shops at Ober will be offering 50% off winter apparel such as coats, jackets and bibs.
