SEVIERVILLE, TN – The 57th Annual Sevierville Christmas Parade begins at 11am on Saturday, December 7, from the parking lot of First Baptist Church Sevierville. The parade will follow its traditional route through historic downtown Sevierville by traveling north on Forks of the River Parkway, making a right on Main Street, making a right on Bruce Street and returning to the starting point.

This year parade-goers can expect favorites such as The Diner Rats Car Club, the antique Sevierville fire truck, and the Sevier County High School marching band. Bloomie the Pig will serve as the parade’s honorary grand marshal. Donna’s Majorettes will also participate in the parade lineup – as they have in every Sevierville Christmas Parade since the event began. There will also be new entries including floats from Wilderness at the Smokies and Ober Gatlinburg, plus Barney Fife and Thelma Lou impersonators and several others. All total, parade organizers expect more than sixty entries.

“This Sevierville Christmas parade is a wonderful tradition in our community,” says Sevierville Chamber of Commerce CEO Brenda McCroskey. “Many people have fond memories of participating in this parade or of watching it as a spectator over the years. It is a 57-year tradition the Sevierville Chamber is proud to organize.”

Those wishing to watch the 57th Annual Sevierville Christmas Parade are encouraged to line the sidewalks along the parade route just before the event begins at 11am. The event will also be livecast on Mountain Fun Life’s Facebook page at fb.com/mountainfunlife with hosts Frank Murphy and Kira Cupp. Learn more about the Sevierville Christmas Parade on the special events page at VisitSevierville.com.
