Coming to SunTrust Park this year is the Art in the Park Poster Series. Local artists from around Braves Country will create limited-edition posters. Local Knoxville artist, Justin Helton’s poster will debut at the start of the Braves vs. New York Mets home series, April 11-14.
“Being a longtime Braves fan, when asked to create an official poster for the team I jumped at the chance. I grew up watching the Braves on TBS and the chance to work with such a great legacy is a dream come true,” said Helton. “Being able to incorporate vintage logo marks really hit the spot with me. I have always loved the old lowercase "a" logo and was excited to incorporate it.”
The 12” by 18” Braves-themed piece will be sold exclusively in the Braves Clubhouse Store at SunTrust Park. A majority of the proceeds going to local arts programs through the Atlanta Braves Foundation. For more information, please visit Braves.com/ArtinthePark.
