Genesis House benefit concert set for April 20th


COARM is hosting a benefit concert on April 20, 2019 at the Hippie Jack Farms in the Sanctuary for a very important cause and organization. The benefit is for the Genesis House, Inc. of the Upper Cumberland. Located in Cookeville, TN and serving the surrounding 9 counties, their “mission is to promote the general welfare of victims of domestic and sexual violence by providing shelter, goods and services while helping them find safety in their lives and the self-sufficiency and healing needed to become independent. To this end, it is also our mission to enlighten the community in the dynamics of domestic and sexual abuse and its prevention by providing comprehensive educational programs”.

The concert will raise donations for their organization to help out their vital cause, including:

Televisions
Clothing
Food
Pillows
Feminine hygiene products
Shampoo, soap
Razors
Toothbrush/paste
Deodorant
Hair brushes, hair ties
Diapers, (sizes 4, 5, 6), pull-ups
Cleaning supplies
Laundry detergent
Paper towels & toilet paper

The Hippie Jack Farm is located in Overton County, Tennessee; situated in the hills of the Upper Cumberland Plateau, nestled in the West Fork of the Obey River. The address is: 642 Shiloh Road, Crawford, TN 38554

Three outstanding artists will perform: Meekah, Bee Taylor, Cody Brooks

Yardbirds Food Truck of Cookeville will cook up delicious delicacies. Jig Head Brewing Company of Cookeville will provide thirst-quenching refreshments.
