Let’s face it, everyone knows it can be hard to fill in the time when young kids go on fall break. The weather is still fairly nice, kids want to go outdoors, and you (and them) would prefer they do something free or cheap.

That’s where Seek Knoxville comes in. The “sister business” of East TN Tours, Seek Knoxville prides itself in offering a unique but fun learning experience through downtown Knoxville in the form of a walkable scavenger hunt through the heart of the city. Unlike most kid oriented games/activities these days, our scavenger hunt does not require the use of a phone or any electronic device. A group/team simply meets the “game master” in person downtown, receives a paper booklet full of riddles, puzzles, clues and more, and navigates their way through our scruffy little city. Guests will basically make a large loop of the downtown area, all the while filling in answers to the brainteasers, which some of those letters in turn will make up the name of their final destination.

And there were prizes! Unlike some other scavenger hunt business models/games you might find here or in other cities, once the scavenger hunt is complete and guests make it to their final stop, EVERYONE is awarded a prize. But of course to keep things exciting, if teams decide to compete against each other, the first team to arrive to the end location ALSO gets an additional bonus prize for showing up first!

Seek Knoxville has already been booked by several local groups, businesses and more, like local Venturers, business team building groups, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and more.

Seek Knoxville has opened up the dates of October 4-5 and 8-12 to have completely flexible times for anyone wanting to book a scavenger hunt during their 2018 fall break. We typically only offer them on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays around 1pm, but we want this awesome experience to be available to anyone that normally might be in school/classes while on their break! I would love for as many people as possible to know about these special fall break opportunity, whether that be in printed form, shared on social media(s), a spot on local TV programming, etc.
