Zoo Knoxville hosts Feast with the Beasts, August 11

Feast with the Beasts, presented by ORNL Federal Credit Union, will feature samplings from Knoxville’s best restaurants, wineries, breweries and distilleries. The event takes place at Zoo Knoxville on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 7:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.

In addition to a wide variety of food and drinks to sample, the evening’s entertainment charts a course for the tropics with timeless 70s and 80s “yacht rock” performed by Smooth Sailor in the Kids Cove tent. The laid-back vibes continue with Nate Brown’s Rhythms of Soul performing reggae, Calypso, R&B and Afro-Latin jazz in the Grasslands Africa area. The event will also include encounters with the zoo’s animal ambassadors throughout the evening.

Tickets are $89 per person in advance and $99 per person the day of the event. Zoo annual passholders and Circle of Friends members receive $10 off tickets. Ticket price includes all food and beverage samples and entertainment. Tickets may be purchased online at feastwiththebeasts.com, by phone at (865) 637-5331 or at the zoo’s ticket window during regular business hours. Tickets are also available at all area ORNL Federal Credit Union locations. This event is for guests 21 and up and ID will be required to enter. To ensure a great guest experience, a limited number of tickets are available. More information about the event can be found at feastwiththebeasts.com.

“Feast with the Beasts is a great example of our philosophy of being fun on the outside, but serious about animals on the inside,” said Lisa New, President and CEO. “We love seeing the enthusiasm our guests have for this event and appreciate even more that by choosing to attend, they share our commitment to save animals from extinction.”

Sponsors include ORNL Federal Credit Union, Publix Super Markets, Inc., Regal Cinemas, Cadillac of Knoxville, Centrus Energy, Kroeger-Miller CPA, LLC, WBIR-TV, WIVK-FM and WNML-FM.
