Call for Entries: 13th Annual National Juried Exhibition

The Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville announces a call for entries for its 13th annual National Juried Exhibition. The National Juried Exhibition was developed to provide a forum for artists to compete on a national scale and display their work. Approximately 40-50 fine art works encompassing all styles and genres from both emerging and established artists will comprise the exhibition in the Balcony gallery of the beautifully restored Emporium Center at 100 S. Gay Street from February 1-22, 2019. The Emporium is free and open to the public Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and other hours for special events.

In 2005 after receiving his B.A. in Sculpture and Graphic Design from Messiah College in Grantham, PA, he moved south to the city of Chattanooga, TN. During his time in Chattanooga, he exhibited in both public sculpture exhibitions and gallery shows across the Southeast. In 2011 he received his M.F.A. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He has since returned to Chattanooga where he now makes art, exhibits nationally, teaches art, and is co-founder of a collaborative design and fabrication studio called Range Projects.

More information about the program, as well as images from previous exhibitions, can be found at www.knoxalliance.com/national-juried-exhibition. The National Juried Exhibition of 2018 featured the work of 44 artists as selected by juror Jeffrey Morton.
