Call to Artists: Black & White Art
Broadway Studios and Gallery is having an open call for artists to submit to "The Black and White Art Show."
In the competition, all work must contain only black and white as it's primary colors. All variety of grays, all black, or all white art will be accepted for this show.
This is a juried show in that all art must fit the theme of the show. All work that does not fit this theme as described above will be disqualified.
Artwork should be submitted on Thursday-Saturday, August 24th - 26th from 10am till 7pm.
Opening night will be held on Friday, "First Friday," September 1st from 5-9pm. Prizes will be awarded at 6pm sharp.
Broadway Studios and Gallery is located at 1127 N Broadway NE, in Knoxville, It is 1 mile north of the Old City and one block south of WATE Channel 6 Studios' at Greystone Mansion and is next to Vinyard Flooring in "Wright's Place."
Broadway Studios And Gallery is a collective of 10 artists each with a studio in the same building. They have a retail shop, host monthly art exhibits, hold community art competitions, and teach private lessons.
