Abridged Beer Co. has grand opening on UT game day
Knoxville’s newest brewpub, Abridged Beer Company, will be hosting its grand opening celebration, Saturday, September 9. The Tennessee vs. Indiana State football game will be on at 4:00 p.m. Live music following the game will be provided Americana duo, Pale Root. Abridged Beer Company will be releasing two special beers for the occasion; a Boysenberry Gose and a Breakfast Stout with coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, and chocolate. In addition, ten of their beers will be on tap, and as always, a full menu of delicious, southern inspired pub fare will be coming out of the kitchen all day.
Abridged Beer Co. officially opened their doors to the public on August 2 and have been overwhelmed by support from the community. To show their appreciation, they wanted to plan a special day to say thanks.
Abridged Beer Company is an independently owned and operated brewpub with a production brewery and a full commercial kitchen on site. They offer beer brewed and sold on-site and growlers to go. They have begun limited distribution to downtown Knoxville. Dining is fast casual as food orders are placed at the bar then brought to tables by staff.
Abridged Beer Company is located at 100 Lockett Road Knoxville in Bearden.
