The Taste of Home Cooking School, the #1 cooking school in the nation, is coming to Knoxville on Thursday, November 3. This popular national event will be in the Knoxville Convention Center ballroom.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Knox Area Rescue Ministries, and the KARM Abundant Life Kitchen culinary arts job training program will be featured during the evening. The Taste of Home organization typically partners with for-profit businesses and media for its events. However, KARM is pleased to be one of only two non-profit partnerships chosen nationally by the Taste of Home organization during the 2016 season.

The evening will be filled with lively cooking demonstrations, food samples, and substantial goody bags for each guest, numerous door prizes, and a surprise large grand prize giveaway at the end of the evening. At least thirty-five exhibitors will display cooking accessories and also provide complimentary food samples. Everyone in attendance will receive a FREE goody bag with a Taste of Home Cooking Magazine subscription, discount coupons, and more. Sponsors include Food City, WBIR-TV, WIVK-FM, Newstalk 98.7, and the Knoxville News Sentinel. Sponsorships and exhibitor booths are still available.

Doors open at 3:30 pm, followed by the Cooking Exhibitor Expo from 4:00 until 6:00 pm, and the Taste of Home Cooking School from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Taste of Home Culinary Specialist Michelle Roberts will demonstrate eight holiday recipes and valuable kitchen tips. Eight lucky winners will sit at the “Best Seats in the House” table to sample the dishes prepared by Michelle.

General Admission tickets are $15, Preferred Seating tickets are $25, and VIP Tickets, which include a Meet & Greet with Taste of Home Culinary Specialist Michelle Roberts and signed cookbook, are $45. Tickets can be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com. General admission tickets can be purchased at any Food City location.
