Think Spring! Think Street Rods Cruise!
KNOXVILLE - The NSRA Street Rod Nationals South Plus is returning to Knoxville for the 32nd consecutive year May 1-3. All activities will take place at Chilhowee Park.
More than 3,000 pre-1983 street rods, muscle cars, custom cars, trucks and specialty vehicles will carry 11,000 plus participants from all over the Southeastern United States and beyond.
According to Jerry Kennedy, Special Events Director for the National Street Rod Association, The Street Rod Nationals South Plus is the largest automotive event in the region. All cars and trucks thirty years of age and older can participate in a full weekend of rodding fun.
The combination car show, trade show, and crafts fair will also feature commercial exhibits, vintage parts swap meet,an arts and crafts fair, kids make-n-take, live entertainment during the day and at night, and a Sunday worship service. There will also be games, food, and fun for this family-friendly event.
The Street Rod Nationals South Plus is a huge outdoor event with all vehicles on display at least 30 years old in manufacture.
