Knoxville Gay Men's Chorus will perform their Christmas concert at the Bijou Theatre.

The Knoxville Gay Men's Chorus (KGMC) will be presenting their celebration of the holidays with the “Christmas Comes Anew” concert. KGMC has planned a music fest featuring both traditional carols and secular holiday themes. The concert will be held at the Bijou Theater on December 12, 8 PM and December 13, 2 PM.

The Knoxville Gay Men's Chorus was begun in 2012 and has grown from fifteen members to more than fifty in the last three years. The Christmas concert this year will be the first performance under the direction of the new artistic director, Dr. Alan Stevens and will feature two smaller ensembles, “Choral Fixation” and “Latest Edition”.

Highlights for the performance include arrangements of "O Come, All Ye Faithful,” "The First Noel,” and "Still, Still, Still". The second act includes "Mele Kalikimaka,” "How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” and "Jingle Bells”. Within the scope of the concert are traditional Christmas carols, celebrations of warmth and winter and light-hearted numbers.
