Tennessee Valley Fair announces 2014 pageants

KNOXVILLE - This September, the Tennessee Valley Fair will host 6 cute babies and young ladies pageants. Registrations are now being accepted.

Baby Contest
Saturday, September 6 at 10:00 a.m. - Pepsi Community Tent
Cute babies ages: 9-47 months (boys and girls) welcome. Winners receive: $50 cash prize, $25 Build-A-Bear gift card and trophy.

Tiny Tot Pageant
Friday, September 5 at 5:30 p.m. - Pepsi Community Tent
Ages: 4-6 years old welcome. Winner receives: $50 cash prize, professional headshot from Reflections & Images photography, crown, trophy, banner and flowers.

Little Miss Pageant
Friday, September 5 at 5:30 p.m. - Pepsi Community Tent
Ages 7-9 years old welcome. Winner receives: $100 savings bond, $75 cash prize, photo session from Reflections & Images photography, crown, trophy, banner and flowers.

Princess Pageant
Friday, September 5 at 7:00 p.m. - Pepsi Community Tent
Ages 10-12 years old welcome. Winner receives $200 savings bond, $150 cash prize, photo session from Reflections & Images photography, crown, trophy, banner and flowers.

Junior Fairest of the Fair
Saturday, September 6 at 7:00 p.m. - Homer Hamilton Theatre
Ages 13-15 years old welcome. Winner receives $200 cash prize, photo session from Reflections & Images photography, crown, trophy, banner and flowers.

Fairest of the Fair
Saturday, September 6 at 7:00 p.m. - Homer Hamilton Theatre
Ages 16-20 years old welcome. Winner receives: $500 scholarship, $300 cash prize, photo session from Reflections & Images photography, crown, banner, trophy and a trip to Nashville to compete in the state competition. Winner also serves as the official Tennessee Valley Fair Ambassador until September 2015.
