Dragonflies of the World: an International Exhibition

KNOXVILLE — A new exhibition in the gallery at the Emporium Center in downtown Knoxville features painting, mixed media, and sculpture by 21 artists from the United States, Europe, and Central America. The exhibition will run from January 3 through February 1, 2014.

Dragonfly Arts Dimensions, an art agency in Gatlinburg, organized the exhibition to showcase diverse cultures and artwork from around the world. Exhibiting artists include: Jose Alanzo, Dennis Berrios, Deborah Cain, Rafael Casco, Eva Castillo, Dennis Cerrato, Ocean Starr Cline, Juan Pablo Delgato, Delia Flores, Leonel Flores, Delmer Meija, Adonay Navarro, Freddy Olger, Rene Oviedo, Hendry Rivera, Ruben Salagado, Hector Salvidar, Omar Sanchez, Ivan Soto, Orlando Roque, Allan Rosembelth, Fernando Venegas, and Tito Venegas.

Many of the artists will travel to the US and East Tennessee to participate in a variety of activities related to the exhibition programming.

The Emporium Center is located at 100 S. Gay Street, Suite 201, Knoxville, TN 37902 (corner of Gay Street/Jackson Avenue).
