East Tennesseans on a budget can enjoy all the 95th annual Tennessee Valley Fair has to offer by taking advantage of a variety of Discount Days:

Opening Day Special - $1.00 Admission
Friday, September 5, 2014
In celebration of its 95th year, fairgoers can enter the fairgrounds on Friday, September 5 for only $1.00. Discount begins at 3:00 p.m. and ends promptly at 4:35 p.m.

Tailgating Day
Saturday, September 6, 2014
Wear University of Tennessee team colors and receive $1.00 off admission.

Scout Day
Saturday, September 6, 2014
All current Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts (18 years and under) receive free admission with proper identification. Come enjoy activities just for Scouts and earn a special patch.

Guidebook $3.00 Off Coupon
Monday, September 8 - Thursday, September 11, 2014
Take advantage of $3.00 off an adult admission (with coupon) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Coupon available in the Fair’s 2014 Guidebook or in the Knoxville News Sentinel or Metropulse the week of September 1.

Student Day
Monday, September 8, 2014
Students 12th grade and under receive free admission from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Senior Citizen's Day
Tuesday, September 9, 2014
Seniors age 65+ receive free admission all day. Special entertainment, events and contests are available especially for seniors in the Pepsi Community Tent from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Sponsored by Senior Home Assistance of Tennessee.

Tennessee Education Lottery Day
Thursday, September 11, 2014
Receive $3.00 off an adult admission with any non-winning Tennessee Lottery ticket.

Tailgating Day
Saturday, September 13, 2014
Wear University of Tennessee team colors and get $1.00 off an adult admission.

Hometown Heroes Day
Sunday, September 14, 2014
Current and past military, police, firefighters, first responders, teachers and nurses receive free admission with proper identification.
