Annual Chili Cook-Off set for Sunday, Nov. 2nd at World’s Fair Park

It’s Fall! There’s a chill in the air which means it’s time for chili. On Sunday, November 2nd the 9th Annual East Tennessee Chili Cook-Off will be held at World’s Fair Park Festival Lawn from Noon until 6 p.m. VIP entry will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Second Harvest Food Bank, Bush Brothers & Company and Kroger have teamed up this year to feature over 30 amateur cooking teams who will whip up their tastiest recipes to compete for the best chili in town. Each team will produce 25 gallons of their homemade chili.

This family affair provides entertainment as well for children and adults. Kids can enjoy inflatables and adults can play in the Chili Corn Hole Tournament or visit the Chili Beer Garden, where beers from around the world will be offered. Live music will be performed by The Yuns, RMS, and EmiSunshine.

A VIP Chili Tasting Ticket will allow you early access to the Chili Cook Off at 11 a.m. VIP entries will have a private tent with chili fixins, beer, limited edition East TN Chili Cook Off T-Shirt, and a few more added surprises.

Admission to the event is $15.00.
