First Friday at Bliss Home presenting Knoxville artist

Ocean Starr Cline's art, Koiponde, will be featured at Bliss Home throughout the month of May.

KNOXVILLE -- Bliss Home is pleased to present Knoxville artist, Ocean Starr Cline, for May's First Friday. Bliss Home will host an opening reception on Friday, May 2nd from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Complimentary Steamboat Sandwiches will be provided and Starr's art will be featured for the month of May.

Starr was born in San Fransisco and subsequently moved to a farm in Alabama. Starr's farm life taught her to be self-sufficient and the importance of learning to create, which heightened her focus on the natural world.

Starr's May exhibit will feature paintings that reflect her appreciation for the natural world. Starr's subjects for her paintings are often simple & symbolic, which gives her an opportunity to capture a mood or moment. Starr also adheres supplementary materials, like leaves or fabric, to add depth and texture to her work.
