Sky Wheels
Right in the middle of Pigeon Forge is a 200 foot high sky wheel. Located behind the Lumberjack Feud, The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel has individual gondolas which are fully enclosed and air conditioned. Each gondola seats 2 to 6 people. Lasting 10 to 12 minutes per ride, the wheel spins four times to give you great views of Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains. A second sky wheel will be in place soon on 7 acres of land at Community Center Drive located behind Walden's Landing. Plans are underway to add a log flume water ride, an animated fountain, a small roller coaster, and a restaurant.

Talking Dog
You'll get your chance to hear a talking dog at the Comedy Barn® this year. The Comedy Barn® Theater, located in Pigeon Forge, is the award winning family comedy variety show in the Smoky Mountains. The show features a variety of entertainment along with live country and gospel music as well as fun barn yard animals.

RiverRush at Dollywood
RiverRush is the first and only water coaster in Tennessee. It will be ready in May 2013 at Dollywood's Splash Country. RiverRush races through the trees four stories in the air as you experience four drops along a track that thrills with multiple hairpin turns and dark tunnels -- all with rushing water! It has all the features of a traditional land coaster -- powerful climbs, twists, turns. It is expected that 724 people per hour will experience RiverRush.

Local contractors were hired to construct RiverRush which provided many area residents with employment during ordinarily slow months.
