Jazz Lunch on June 5th features “Tribute to Blossom Dearie with Robinella”
The next Jazz Lunch concert will take place on Wednesday, June 5th, from
noon to 1pm at the Square Room on Market Square. Robinella will present a tribute to vocalist Blossom Dearie. Trumpeter Vance Thompson, pianist Justin Hayes, bassist Clint Mullican, and drummer Nolan Nevels will join Robinella for this Jazz Lunch concert.
Blount county native Robinella makes her Jazz Lunch debut with a tribute
to vocalist Blossom Dearie. No stranger to the spotlight, Robinella has
performed at major venues across the country, opening for artists such as
Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Earl Scruggs, Nickel Creek and others. She has
been featured on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," the Grand Ole Opry,
NPR's "Mountain Stage" and PBS's "SoundStage" and has recorded for
Columbia Records and Dualtone Records. Her vocals have been widely
praised for their effortless blend of Country, Americana and Jazz.
The Square Room hosts the Jazz Lunch series on the first Wednesday of each
month from noon to 1pm in partnership with the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra and WUOT
91.9FM.
Admission to the concert is $15 and includes a lunch buffet served up by Cafe 4. Tickets are available online at www.knoxjazz.org or by visiting Cafe 4 in person prior to the show.

The Square Room is a state-of-the-art performance venue in downtown
Knoxville, TN in the Historic Market Square district. It is housed in the
