Gatlinburg July 4th Midnight Parade

Time: Midnight (Pick your spot at least by 11:00 pm on July 3)
Location: The Parkway in Gatlinburg, TN

gatlinburg 4th of july paradeThis will be the 38th year Gatlinburg will host its First Independence Day Parade in the Nation. Downtown sidewalks will be filled with over 100,000 onlookers as they witness the excitement of the Gatlinburg July 4th Midnight Parade.

The Parade’s Grand Marshal will be Women Veterans and other U.S. Heroes. Among those representing the Women Veterans will be Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Many-Bears Grinder and members of the Women Veterans of America Chapter 20 from Nashville.

Also featured in the parade will be the 572nd U.S. Air Force Band, members of the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Coast Guard - plus vintage military vehicles, local area public safety agencies, and lots more.

Police and fire department vehicles, bagpipes, marching bands, decorated and lighted floats, horses, large balloons will participate. The parade will begin at traffic light #1a on East Parkway, then turn south onto the Parkway at traffic light #3 and travel the length of the downtown street to traffic light #10 at Ski Mountain Road.

Parade attendees will start placing their folding chairs along the route as early as 7 am on July 3rd.
