There are many way to celebrate America's freedom on July 4th this year in Knoxville and surrounding areas. Families, singles, senior adults, and teenagers have many options to enjoy a fun-filled weekend. Parades, festivals, concerts, fireworks, outdoor activities, backyard BBQs, and more have been planned.
Celebrations begin on Thursday, July 3rd and continue through the weekend. Surrounding areas have some big events scheduled, including Rockin' the Docks in Lenoir City Park, the Gatlinburg 4th of July Midnight Parade, and the Museum of Appalachia's 4th of July event which features an anvil shooting, live music, patriotic demonstrations, and tasty food.
