First Watch holds grand opening for its first Knoxville restaurant

first watch daytime cafeKNOXVILLE – First Watch, The Daytime Café, will award free Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch for two for six months to two lucky winners in celebration of its Knoxville debut. The Grand Opening Celebrations will take place on Tuesday, December 10, and Tuesday, December 17 at the restaurant located at 11682 Parkside Drive in Turkey Creek near the Publix Super Market.

Every customer that dines at the restaurant on Tuesday, December 10, or Tuesday, December 17, will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win free Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch for two for six months. The winner from each day will be notified via email. A free coffee mug will also be given to the first 100 customers that dine on either date at the Turkey Creek First Watch location. Free Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch for two consists of 25 dated certificates valid one per week and only redeemable at the Turkey Creek First Watch restaurant located at 11682 Parkside Drive. First Watch is open from 7:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

“We see a lot of loyal patrons and a lot of first time visitors every day at First Watch,” said James Geib, chief operating officer for Capstone Concepts. "Whoever wins this will become the luckiest guests we have."

The Turkey Creek restaurant first opened its doors in late October 2013. Capstone Concepts, LLC plans to open a total of eight restaurants over the next five years in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City, Asheville, N.C., and Bowling Green, Ky.

A recipient of more than 200 Best Breakfast and Best Brunch accolades nationwide, First Watch offers traditional favorites such as omelets, pancakes, sandwiches and salads, to unique specialty items like the fan-favorite Chickichanga® and Fresh Fruit Crepes. In March 2012, First Watch launched a new menu offering 15 new items with fresh, new ingredients, including house-roasted fresh vegetables, and house-made granola, Muesli cereal and Ciabatta bread salad croutons. All menu items are freshly prepared to order and the restaurant does not use deep fryers or heat lamps.

In addition to serving unique and fresh entrées, First Watch offers its exclusive Sunrise Select® Premium Blend Coffee. The special blend is made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown Panamanian, Colombian and Mexican coffee beans.

First Watch is now open and serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers guests complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
